About

Located in Chengu, north of the ring Expressway within the burgeoning High-Tech Zone, SKP Park stretches out in all directions. At 48 acres in size, and located above 30 meters of destination shopping, parking garages, and a new regional subway station - the new SKP park as envisioned as a quilt of varying landscape typologies, experiences, and stimulation for visitors. This new park embraces Chengdu’s push for Sponge City Construction, as such significant amounts of the project were designed to be either permeable paving or permeable plantings with significant soil depths to support abundant and diverse plant life.

Unique and iconic features abound and are already becoming cherished aspects of the park. A wetland garden walk provides meandering paths and contemporary Chinese garden bridges, while the north Gardens act as a botanical wonderland. Perhaps the most recognizable features, “The Tower of Life”, stands as interactive and dynamic water beacons.
